User’s manual:
- Ratchet switch – There are 3 positions for this ratchet switch: The higher position is for pulling, the lower position is for releasing, the middle position is for both pulling and releasing but can only be used when unloaded .When the winch is loaded, hold the crank handle tightly if you want to change the switch position.
- Before using, install the winch on a firm and flat surface .To install it ,put the ratchet switch on the middle position and pull the cable out until the holes on the bottom of the base are visible. Then use at least 3 sets of 3/8″ bolts and locking nuts, in a triangle pattern, to fix the base on the surface. Use an extra metal or hardwood board when necessary.
- Then install the crank handle to the axis bolt with nut.
- Put the ratchet switch on the higher position and turn the crank handle clockwise to pull. Put the ratchet switch on the lower position and turn the crank handle counterclockwise to release.

Attention and Warning:
- It is forbidden to pull or move people with this winch.
- Mustn’t be overloaded.
- If the wire rope is damaged, there is breakage, peace and rust or knotting. Do not use it.
- When working, do not buckle the hook of the tail of the wire rope on the wire rope to avoid wearing the wire rope.
- When pulling the cargo, the wire rope and the reel should be kept vertical, otherwise the wire rope will be easily worn.
- When using a hand winch to pull heavy loads, it is best to use pulleys to reduce the load on the winch and wire rope.
- When the wire rope is wound on the reel for less than 5 turns, do not use the winch to pull the cargo. Otherwise, the fixed plate will not bear the burden and an accident will occur.
- When the manual winch is working, do not touch the wire rope, reel or pulley. When you need to tidy up the wire rope, please wear a glove to cover the wire rope with thick cloth.
